February Favorites!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello there it's been a while since I updated my blog and shame on me Ive been busy with school and being just lazy! Broke as well. I've made it a mission to start using more of the products I own that are being neglected. But for now into the February Favs!


First lets start off with my MAC Face and Body I'm in the shade N1
I love that this is build able and light I don't feel like I have a ton of face makeup on when I wear this. I set it with my prep and prime or my mineralize skinfinish. There are smaller bottles that you can purchase but the woman gave me the 4oz which is fine because Ill have it for a while lol!

Next love of my life is the Sigma Flat Angled Kabuki - F88
This brush makes my skin look flawless whether I use a full coverage foundation (for when those days your skin hates you) or a sheer to medium coverage foundation. I have found that it does suck up alot of foundation when I dip the brush into the product so instead I plop ( love that word) on my cheeks forehead and chin and little on the nose. It blends beautifully. I love hearing your skin looks flawless considering I was made fun of for my bad acne. I've used this on my mother who has a matured skin and she looked lovely her face looked great.

MAC Purring Tendertone lipbalm
I purchased this in the cosmetic store. You know the ones that have all the old MAC products that aren't for sale anymore or discontinued. I plan on going back and buying more and trying a different scent. I originally had Mac lip conditioner the pink one. But my nephew got into that then that went buh bye. It does moisturize and smell yummy. I don't think it taste very good not very hygienic.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer is next up. It is a matte bronzer no shimmer at all. I used this tons of times in february I gave my cargo bronzer a rest. However I notice its a bit orange on me and I feel like an oompa loompa so I go easy on it.

Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer. Got this as a sample and its amazing I will be purchasing this after I run out of the sample. The ladies love when you ask for samples haha NOT but tooo bad ladies. Girls get your free samples there good for traveling and trying something out before spending a boat load of money on something you might end up being disappointed in.

Armani Eyes To Kill is my favorite mascara EVER. My mom bought the black tube this time last time we got the silver tube. This product makes my puny lashes awesome long and have volume. I do not curl my lashes because they do not hold. The wand is okay. This is quite a pricey mascara.

Anastasia Eye Brow pencil in ash brown. I reach for this more than the shadow but I go back and forth so.

Anastasia Tinted Eyebrow Gel in Brunette. I was so excited to try this I couldn't wait to use it at first it was fine I like the ginge tinge it gave my brows because im a envious of girls who are red heads. After a while to much started coming out when I pulled the wand out and a glop would be on my brows and I think this has shimmer in it. Why would I want shimmery brows. If I wanted shimmer brows I'd put glitter on them. Brows should be matte not sparkly. I haven't decided what Im going to do to with this throw it out or keep it. If I take a clean mascara wand and run in threw my brows after I put this on it helps.

New Year's Day Shopping Spree!!!!!!!!!!


My mom and I spent the day together and went to the Danbury Fair Mall. I had gift cards from Christmas that were burning holes in my pocket book so when I saw Sephora I ran right over. These are the goodies that I got.

I have been needing a new primer for a while after growing somewhat unhappy with my paintpot from Mac. I have painterly and I do like it however I'm noticing creasing after a while which I've never had before. Mom and me had went to a makeup class at  Nordstroms for Laura Mericer. I was so happy with her  eye shadow primer. My eye shadow stayed on all day and didn't crease once. Neither did my mom's, who has mature skin. I bought the one in wheat because that's what I tried last time and liked it.

It retails for $24.00 and has 5.10g/0.18 oz.

My next goodie that I picked up was the Anastasia Tinted brow gel in Brunette. I have her eyebrow pencil in medium ash and have been wanting to try more products by her. Some days I don't have time to fill in my eyebrows and this tinted gel is supposed to give some color along with holding them in place for when they want to be all crazy and go in all different directions. I've tested it out only twice and it seems to be okay. It retails for $21.00 and has 9.0g/0.32 oz.



















For my final goodie I bought the Becca Beach Tint duo water-resistant color for cheeks and lips. I have seen Pixiwoo rave about this makeup brand on their blog and in their Youtube videos. I had no idea that this brand was in Sephora. Alot more brands that are overseas or where once only online are slowly making there way into the stores. Which is very good for people who need it to be more accessible. I've always steered away from creme products for the cheeks because my skin was so terribly dry, but now since my skin is better, I'm not so afraid. I found these over by the register in those wonderful little boxes filled with all small travel sizes that can just add 20-30$ to your purchase! I bought the duo which contains the colors Watermelon and Fig. They retailed for 20$. See those little boxes! Each tube contains 4ml/ 0.14 oz.

Hello World!

This is my first blog and I've decided as my first post to do my monthly favorites. I see them all the time on youtube love seeing what products people are loving and disliking every month. Soooo here we go.

1) Laura Mercier Artist Eyes Palette

Got this baby for Christmas from my neighbor and I have been asking for this palette since it came out. I have always wanted to try Laura Mercier eye shadows, but I am very picky about eyeshadows lately. The colors are very pigmented and soft and blend-able. It's very reminiscence of the The Urban Decay Naked palette but the colors have less fall out. It was a special at the Sephora store apparently and they do not sell it at the Nordstrom's Laura Mericer counter.

2) Marilyn Monroe Limited Edition Lipstick ( Love Goddess)

I love bold pigmented colors and this does not disappoint. I fill my lips in with NYX Fushia lip pencil then apply one coat of love goddess then i pat on some Mac's pressed powder and then add another coat of love goddess and it holds perfectly. It lasted all through Christmas dinner. I only had to apply once. Usually I would have applied two or three times.

3) Kat Von D tattoo eyeliner pen
I got this in the Sephora eyeliner sample kit and was very hesitant to use this because I have the other tattoo eyeliner and I wasnt thrilled after a while with it. Instead of looking black black it looks soft black. But this is pen I am absolutely in love with it. It is actually almost fool proof. Its a rich black color. Dries nice and still looks good hours later.

4) Sigma Paris Palette blush ( Peche)/ Sigma Large Angled  Contour Brush F40
I looove this color blush and it how it applies with this brush. I use it at as a everyday color. It's a pink color but i also see some peach in it. Soft blend-able, will be sad when Im all done but I have a feeling it will be a while before I hit pan. LOL. As for the brush I cant wait to get my next paycheck so I can try out more Sigma brushes. I will be purchasing the Angled kabuki brush.

5) My Mac palette
 I've used these colors alot lately. Electra, Woodwinked, Satin Taupe, Copperplate and Cranberry have been used quite a but this month.

6) Cargo Bronzer

Awesome just amazing I don't know what I did before without. It gives a beautiful glow to the skin not to much shimmer at all. If you want something subtle I suggest this. I found mine at Ulta because my mom gave her's away.

7)  Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Aloe Wipes
Removes your makeup and refreshes your face. Feels very good on my eyelids at the end of the night.
I wish it came in a bigger quantity.

8) Anastasia Brow Wiz ( Medium Ash)
Mine are falling out for some reason.

9) Jack Black LipBalm in Mint
Favorite Lip Balm ever. I will be purchasing more of these as I lose misplace things constantly. It very  hydrating and smells good. I constantly saw Temptalia rave about this and I finally gave in and purchased it then kicked myself for waiting for so long.

10) Loreal True Match Lumi( N1-2)
I was feeling very blue and was getting sick of my regular foundation. I didnt feel I had any glow to me so I picked this up after reading up on it and watching reviews and I am very happy. I picked it up, it has pretty good coverage. All you need is one pump, I dab it on my face then buff it in with my Samantha Chapman stippling brush.

DISLIKES
1) Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid eyeliner ( Perversion)

I received this in the Sephora eyeliner set and I truly hate this eyeliner. I saw it on Xsparkage and she raved about it and I was looking forward to trying it. It is terrible it dries to fast and looks like thin piece of paper on your eyelid. It is definitely not good for mature skin as it will cling to ever wrinkle possible.

2) Mega Plush Mascara
I usually buy luxury brand mascara but since money has been barely existent, I've gone through so many drugstore brands in the last 2 months its almost embarrassing. For what I paid I could have bought quite a few name brand mascara's. The only one I really enjoyed was the Revlon PhotoReady. It such a dark black and makes them look full. My eyelashes looked regular and natural there was nothing spectacular about them after using this.
